Thanks to the artistic talents of Allie, FRSO has a striking new banner incorporating our new logo with her own artwork.

Some one has mentioned on our Facebook fan page that they are having difficulty getting Totally Ferret kibble in Ottawa.  My local pet store, March Road Pet Food & Grooming have small bags in stock and can get it in two other sizes.  613-591-9423.

For anyone interested, Serge Rivard will be taking pictures at Bark and Fitz in Barrhaven (4100 Strandherd Dr) from 12-3 on Sunday, October 17th. The price is $10 for the sitting fee and an 8x10. Serge can photograph multiple animals at once so if you have a few ferrets (or other pets) whose pics you want taken you can have them all done together Smiley This weekend's theme is Halloween and the store is expecting a big turnout so there may be a bit of a wait.

Serge will be back at the store in November and December doing Christmas pics, so if you can't attend this weekend but want pics taken there will be more opportunities  Smiley

Thanks for the update. Everyone's been wondering what's going on.

Although, it has been difficult to get at Sandy Hill Pet Food Co-Op. If you shop at either store, I now that they are very open to taking "special" orders and will contact you when the order arrives. They can also order the larger, 15lbs bags, which can help save you money.

Keep in mind, ferret food can be frozen in smaller bags, if you are worried about shelf life AND that the food is actually good for 1YEAR past the expiry date.

The FRSO was given this information when a large donation from a ferret food company from Montreal came in 2years ago. Just some added tidbits to help:)

Due to irreconcilable differences, Totally Ferret will no longer be selling through Petsmart.  Alternatives include Sandy Hill Pet Food Coop and Critter Jungle.
