Title: EVO Innova
Post by: m&m on August 17, 2006, 10:26:04 AM
Hello Melody,
Thank you for your interest in Innova products.  I have been waiting to here from customers if they would be interested in the Ferret EVO food.  With your input I will bring in some product and not require you to pre-pay. If you and fellow ferret parents continue to purchase the food I will make it a regular item for the pet department, if not then I will bring it in on special order only.  Look for it on the pet shelves Friday 25th August, the day after my next delivery. I will e-mail you with prices next week.
Thank you for your interest in Rainbow food and I look forward to your feedback concerning Innova EVO Ferret food
Dorothy Wilson
Assitant Manager

I hope this copy of the email I got will help everyone interested :)   Cuz you never know  until you ask!

So I picked up the food about 2 weeks ago now and both my boys enjoy it and we've had no problems with it at all.

And as a bonus my cat thinks they make good treats, he'll do anything for a piece:)

We bought Innova Ferret to mix with Totally Ferret.  After some reluctance, the girls are eating it, although I don't think it's their favorite (our third food is Zupreem, BTW)

We also tried out the Innova Cat - total loss, our three won't touch it.

Dook,
Maureen

we're going to be picking up our Innova EVO from that Sandy Hill pet co-op that Kali mentioned. It's $1.50 cheaper and it's right in our neighbourhood.

I should find out how much Rainbow foods would sell a larger bag of Evo Innova ferret for?  Sandy hill is a bit far for me since I'm out in west carleton. I feed the large bag of Evo with Totally ferret and add sheppard and Green and ulitmate  8 in 1, funds permitting.........:)

Does anyone know anywhere else I can buy Innova EVO for Ferrets?  Sandy Hill is having a problem with their supplier and don't know if/when they will be getting the orders filled.  Thx.

I found some small 2.2kg bags at Critter Jungle for $7.99/bag.  They're supposed to be getting a shipment  of large bags later this week.

Hey Lynn!

Natural Pet Foods carries the small and large bags. The small bags go for $7.99 and I think the large one is $43.00. Let me know if you'd like us to pick some up for you.

I called the Orleans Global foods... they didn't have any in stock!  I've got enough to last me a couple of weeks and will search out a large bag when I'm off work next week.  Thanks everyone!

I managed to find a large bag at Natural pet foods. From what I gathered it was their only one in stock and had been sitting there for a while.  On a positive note, I just received a call from Sandy Hill Co-op and they'll be able to order it again starting the first week of May.

There is one bag left at Global Pet Foods at Fallingbrook Shopping Center on 10th Line in Orleans! (At least I think I left one bag?)

I tought that it was not good to mix EVO with totally ferret because EVO is "sans grains" (I think in english you say "corn free") and totally ferret isn't ??

Title: Re: EVO Innova

It is only a problem if you are trying to avoid feeding any corn to ferrets.  Because I have ferrets coming and going all the time (fosters and ferret sitting), I prefer a mix of up to 4 different foods (Evo, Totally Ferret, 8in1 Ultimate, Sheppard & Greene) -  helps keep everyone happy and I don't worry if the store is out of stock of one the brands for a while.

Pampered Pet at the Bank St. and Hunt Club intersection (in the strip mall with Produce Depot and the Canada Trust) has Innova EVO. I buy mine from there.
