Due to irreconcilable differences, Totally Ferret will no longer be selling through Petsmart.  Alternatives include Sandy Hill Pet Food Coop and Critter Jungle.

Thanks for the update. Everyone's been wondering what's going on.

Although, it has been difficult to get at Sandy Hill Pet Food Co-Op. If you shop at either store, I now that they are very open to taking "special" orders and will contact you when the order arrives. They can also order the larger, 15lbs bags, which can help save you money.

Keep in mind, ferret food can be frozen in smaller bags, if you are worried about shelf life AND that the food is actually good for 1YEAR past the expiry date.

The FRSO was given this information when a large donation from a ferret food company from Montreal came in 2years ago. Just some added tidbits to help:)

Some one has mentioned on our Facebook fan page that they are having difficulty getting Totally Ferret kibble in Ottawa.  My local pet store, March Road Pet Food & Grooming have small bags in stock and can get it in two other sizes.  613-591-9423.

As another quick tip, smaller "mom and pop" style stores, such as "Global Pet Foods" and "The Pampered Pet" are usually more accommodating and helpful with regards to special orders. I have personally had great success with both.
