Any diabetic ferrets?

I have some leftover diabetic supplies from one of my cats - a couple of vials of Lantus insulin and syringes. Diabetes is very treatable for ferrets just like it is for cats Anyways, thought I'd see if anyone had a diabetic ferret and could use some help!

Personally, Ive never heard of diabetes in a ferret, at least not a permanent case.  They sometimes get it as a transient condition after insulinoma sugery.  The usual problem is too much insulin, not too little.

I've only ever heard of one case myself. A friend who had ferrets back in the nineties told me she had had one of hers diagnosed with diabetes.
