Okay, so I'll start off with the stats. My ferret is a female, spayed and descented Real Canadian Ferret, She just turned a year old on February 9th 2010. She has a very large 3 level cage.

I was in the process of trying to rehome my little girl because I didn't have the energy to have her out of her cage all the time. I was put on new medication and it made me sleep for hours. I decided it would be best to find someone to adopt her. It was maybe about a week that my ferret was rarely out of her cage. I would take her out and let her run around my room for about 2 hours and put her back in the cage for the night. Now she has a water container that clips onto the cage so there is always water in there, but she usually flips her food dish over and it is usually left empty. For two days I didn't really check in on her as my symptoms were getting worse. I guess she didn't have her food or water (she somehow unclipped it and the water washed out) (PLEASE don't think I neglect my animal, I really don't. I have no one else around to take care of her and I was trying to rehome her and I wasn't getting anyone) I then immediately took her out so I could fill up the water and fill up the food. I brought all of it to my room and then I noticed she was looking VERY skinny. My ferret has never really been a big eater. She is more of a nibbler and would eat in small portions. But I noticed her appetite has been decreasing. To now, where she literally will not eat ANYTHING. She is skin and bone. She wobbles a bit when she moves and last night her breathing was extremely labored.

I do not have enough money to take her to a vet, or I would definitely do that. But I did bring her back to my friend who sold her to me and he suggested to force feed her through a syringe baby food and Pediatric Electrolyte to keep her from being dehydrated. I also have been force feeding her Duk Soup and I even mushed up her usual daily formula with hot water and fed it to her in the syringe.

She rarely is pooping, I noticed a few times her poop had some orangey reddish stuff in it. But today was the first time she actually took a poo and it was very tiny and mushy, and a lot of brown liquid around it.

I was reading if she has a blockage that force feeding her is the worst thing I could do because it could cause her intestines? (I think that was the body part) will burst.

I don't have money to get her checked out by the vet, but I'm trying my best with what I have. Please help me out PLEASE
