Dog Wash 2008

Weather permitting, the Ferret Rescue Society of Ottawa and Area will be at Critter Jungle on Saturday, September 27 from 10:30am to 4:00pm for a fund raising Dog Wash! 

The cost is $10 per dog.  Please tell all your friends, family and co-workers.  You can also download and print our Poster to help spread the news.

We hope to see lots of people and dogs there!  All proceeds of this event go to help pay the FRSO vet bills.

Well, the weather wasn't great but some people still came out for a good hosing down and crub! We tried to hang in there but threw in the towel at 2:30PM just as it started to rain. In total we washed 7 dogs, less than half of last years number but we had some good laughs, as always, doing it. I'd like to take this moment to give a BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers that were there to help. We had more of them than we had dogs! As always, your dedication and support is greatly appreciated. Lynn also took some pics and will post then when she has a chance. Till then...I hope to see a lot of you at the frolic, and let's hope for better weather for next years wash!
