Rufus

  Rufus

These boys were lovingly adopted in the spring of '08 and had to recently be returned due to medical issues within their adoptive home. We have listed them together but it is obvious Rufus has adrenal issues. They are less rambunctious then in their younger years but just as sweet. They get along with all the pansy fosters and Guidoune has adopted them into her cage and loves her new-found big brothers. Updated photos to follow.

This cute little girl is happy, healthy, and get's along great with others. She's also a fabulous climber and quite the adventurer:) Would be the perfect foster addition to any existing business.

Cassie

  Rosie (aka Fergus)

Rosie is a boy. Oh well, he is deaf and doesn't so much mind his name and quite frankly, he plays like a girl. He's bouncy and fun and very gentle so he's already a hit with all the ladies! Cassie is a bit more sensitive and while Rosie is entertaining his new found friends, Cassie is being responsible and trying to get things organized. She is the worry wart in the partnership but seems to get along with other gentle fosters. Let's keep this silly pair together.

Bobby (prev. Bob)

  Bobby (prev. Bob)

Bob is still missing her best pal, Rio but she is cuddling up with her new foster family (everyone has moved to her spot in the cage) and she's definitely beginning to play again - if she can't tempt a fuzzy to play with her she has her foster mom wrapped around her little paw. She is such a sweet, and fun ferret so it is doing our hearts good to see she is a little less sad. Never fear! Her foster family is giving her plenty of extra duck soup love and kisses. Though she is older, she still behaves as she did when she was 6 months old. We will have to be sure Bob is 100 percent before we allow her to be adopted and she will absolutely have to have another fuzzy friend.

  Dixi

Clyde came with younger Dixie and they sound like an oddly matched pair, except that they go everywhere together. They always seek each other out for a nap though they are definitely having a blast with the ever-growing 'pansy' foster crew. Clyde occasionally gets a bit rough with his play, which doesn't seem to make much of an impression since all the wimpy girls still love to cuddle with him at the end of a long day. Dixie is just sweet as pie and fun, fun, fun! They must stay together.

Tabour and Gizmo are sweet ferrets and gentle friends. They BOTH love to give kisses and are definitely a bonded pair. Tabour also LOVES his duck soup but is picky with his treats. Giz-mo on the other hand turns her nose up at the duck soup but there isn't a treat she hasn't met that she didn't like!

Yogi

  Yogi

Yogi was surrendered with her brother Booboo who, unfortunately, had a number of medical issues and has since crossed the bridge. Yogi is BEYOND sweet. She loves to be held and will sit on you or lay in your arms for hours on end lapping-up the love and attention given to her. If your lucky, she will even bestow her gentle kisses on you.

Curly

  Curly

Curly is a hoot! He came with Mo and Larry and true to his name, his tail is the most crooked I have ever seen in a ferret! He is not a cuckoo as his brother Mo, but is also not far behind. Loves people and happily snuggles in with two legged companions, well before Mo is ready to settle down at all. Larry has effectively disowned them both, though tolerates their presence reluctantly, so Curly just needs to stick with Mo if he is adopted.

Mo

  Mo

Mo is such a character. He is deaf as a post and as crazy as a loon. Though wiry and slightly rough looking, he is a hoot to wind up! He came with Larry, who would happily disown all ferrets, and Curly. We would at least like to see that he and Curly are adopted together!

Larry

Larry came with Curly and Mo but honestly, he seems to prefer the single ferret life. We have successfully mixed him with our Pansy foster group but not without complaints. Larry has great weight and a beautiful coat. He loves people and other pets, as long as they are not ferrets. We'll see if his position on chums changes but for now, we consider him better off as a single furkid.

Doran

  Doran

Doran is a kisser! Sir Doran of the Half-Foot, as we've nicknamed him, is a lap ferret. His goal in life is to be picked up and petted, and he just relaxes in you arms. Doran is about 4 years old. A birth defect left him with only half a foot on one rear leg, but he still motors like the best of them! Doran has an enlarged heart, and he takes his medicine like a good boy. We hope to have him around for as long as he's happy and comfortable. I often find Doran and Rosie curled up together in a hammock, the two foster ferret just paired from the start.

Moog

  Moog

Moog is most definitely not acting his age; someone forgot to tell him that he's over 4 years old! He loves to cuddle, doesn't have a mean bone in his body and watch out when you get him going! He is a little nervous around others, especially if they are younger and bigger. Would be best suited in a single home or with older fuzzies and would make a lovely foster.

Mongo

This large boy came to us with no name or history via the Humane Society. He's turned out to be a big sooky pants, gives kisses everywhere and has discovered that he loves the rice box. He's a bit of a bully with the pansies and is pushing his girth around the place to make his point. He also "cries wolf" even though he's the one beating the others up. He'd be best suited as a single because he's too tough for the wimps and too wimpy for the tough crowd.

  Tata (aka Sadie)

This shy little princess has been a kept as a single and is curious but a little unsure of other ferrets. She's not much for playing but does like the rice box. She's a GREAT climber and therefore loves to explore everything and anything. Would make a very sweet single.

Prospero

This little guy had been found and turned into the Humane Society with no information. He was obviously neglected and has consequently developed trust issues, particuarly with men. Sadly, he does not even know how to play or interact with other fosters. He will remain in foster care, being showered with bigtime TLC until a decsion can be made whether to leave him available for adoption or not.

This little girl is a real sweetie. She's soft and snugly but seems a bit shy at this time. We are mixing her with our pansy foster group to see if we can find her a new friend. We'll keep everyone up to date on what family she would be best suited to. B.

Luna is fun-loving and gives plenty of kisses. She loves to burrow in blankets and gets along with other ferrets. This sweetie should be adopted with other like-minded furkids or into a home with existing ferret friends.

This big guy is handsome. He is healthy and bouncy and gets on well with other tough ferrets. Does have a tumour in his mouth which does not affect his appetite or ability to eat. Requires little maintenance to care for. Can be adopted as a single into an existing ferret business or fostered with friends.

Just a sweet girl, who remains active but can get a bit overwhelmed among more dominant ferrets. Seems to have found a loving, permanent foster home.

Charlie recently lost his cagemate Marshall but he's doing well and forever his happy, bouncing and dooking self. He LOVES his daily duck soup, cuddles with other fosters and hanging upside down.

Kiwi was surrendered with Chanelle. Because this pair is older, they will likely remain as permanent fosters.

Spike came from a sweet surrendered group and he and his cage mate, Juliette, had found themselves a loving, permanent foster home. Sadly, he lost his pal recently to insulinoma issues but remains cuddled and cared for.

Halo

Someone clearly forgot to tell Halo she is supposed to be senior. She runs, she plays, she get super silly at the smallest provocation and if you've ever tried to photograph her, good luck!! She simply doesn't sit still long enough. So far, she seems to get on with other pansy fosters and so is available as a permanent foster with other fuzzbutts.

Someone clearly forgot to tell him he is supposed to be senior. He runs, plays, and he is silly!!! at the smallest provocation and if you've ever tried to photograph him, good luck!! He doesn't sit still long enough. Diablo is pretty bossy with new friends and gets along well with furkids like Bubbles and Tristan. Is available with other ferrets or into an existing ferret business.

These kids are soooooooooo sweet. That being said, Frank doesn't stop long enough for us to get a really good look at him....he's always a sort of blur running by......Frank may look a bit like a mini-Animal or Duncan #2....hard to tell....oh! There he goes again! Margaret is fun loving but absolutely loves to be picked up and talked to. She's got a beautiful face and is sooooo attentive! This pair must stay together! They seem to get along with my big group of fosters without any issues.......of course, they probably haven't actually seen Frank either.......:)
